Why does Signilar sponsor workshops?
Over the years, I have found that attending and giving workshops have provided me with artistic growth in a way that I just cannot achieve on my own. Perhaps it is the commraderie of other artists working to bring artistic event to the canvas. Perhaps it is the focus on art and matters artistic that help create the right milieu to make steps forward. Or maybe I just enjoy being immersed in the teaching or being taught experience.
When we started Signilar Art Videos over 20 years ago, it was to bring that workshop experience to many who could not easily get to workshops on a regular basis. I believe that each of our videos provides the viewer with a workshop-like experience, a one to three hour immersion in the artistic process of some of America's leading artists.
So, the workshops themselves are a way of refreshing and continuing the artistic process we capture in our videos. We need it for us, and we want to share them with you.
