Bronze Is Her Passion
This unusual videos takes us to the Puerto Rican home and studios of sculptor/painter Jan D’Esopo. Collectors and artists alike will be fascinated to watch and learn the many steps involved in bronze casting; three positives: clay, wax, and bronze; and two negatives: rubber mold and ceramic shell mold. This unique program teaches the many steps involved. The viewer follows the artist through all the intricacies of bronze casting, “studio style”. Jan explains carefully the entire process from the clay model of the subject to finished product.
