This presentation shows all the techniques on painting precise Still life. Ken describes and demonstrates his methods of painting “Trompe L’oeil” and very smooth, beautifully finished Still Lives. Ken‘s best-loved lessons from the Paier School of Art, where he taught for 40 years, are included in this film, including three demonstrations focused specifically on the technique of developing shadow, creating ellipses and working with edges. Ken shows us some of his still life setups, and explains his philosophy and methods. Included is a unique tour of Mr. Davies home and studio.
